Independent by design. Funded by patients, never by clinics.

For UK dentists

Clinimora is an independent research service that checks Turkish clinics on behalf of patients. This page is for dentists whose patients are planning, or have had, treatment in Türkiye.

Paid for by patients, not by clinics

Clinimora takes no money from clinics: no fees, no advertising, no sponsorship and no referral commissions. It does not arrange treatment, does not recommend clinics and does not rate the clinical quality of any treatment. It reports what public records show about a clinic and marks what they cannot settle.

Why this page exists

In a British Dental Association survey of over 1,000 UK dentists, 95% had examined patients who had been treated abroad. Of those, 86% had treated complications. Over half said repairs cost the patient more than £1,000, and one in five said more than £5,000. BDA: dental tourism, patients need to know the risks.

The questions below are the ones a patient can settle before paying a deposit.

What a practice can use

  • Free register lookup

Patients can look up any facility on the Turkish Ministry of Health register, free and without an account, at clinimora.com/find. The lookup shows what the register says; it is not a rating.

  • A one-page handout

A printable list of questions to ask before paying a deposit. It is on this page, below, and prints on a single sheet.

  • A referral code

Patients who buy the Clinimora report can enter a code at checkout for a discount. The code is below.

  • Bulk arrangements for practices

Practices that want to hand the report to many patients can write to hello@clinimora.com.

Referral code for patients

At checkout of a Clinimora report, a patient enters this code in the “Promo code” field and presses Apply. The discount is shown before payment.

DENTIST

One use per e-mail address. The code only changes the price; it changes nothing in a report.

Before you pay a deposit: eight questions

For anyone considering dental treatment in Türkiye. Write the answers down and keep them with the contract.

  1. Is the facility on the Ministry of Health register? The Turkish Ministry of Health publishes a list of facilities authorised for health tourism (healthturkiye.gov.tr). Look the clinic up by name and note the date you looked.
  2. Who legally runs the clinic?Ask for the name of the company on the contract and check that it matches the brand on the website and in the adverts.
  3. Is the person selling to you the clinic or an intermediary? Many offers are sold by agencies that are not the clinic. Ask who you are paying, and who you will have a contract with.
  4. Which dentist will carry out the work?Ask for the treating dentist's name in writing, not only the clinic's.
  5. What exactly is in the written plan and price?Ask for an itemised treatment plan with the price, what is included, what is not, and any warranty terms, before any deposit is paid.
  6. What happens if something needs to be put right after you are home?Ask who handles it, where, who pays, and what is promised in writing.
  7. Will you get your records?Ask for copies of X-rays, the treatment record and the materials used, to bring home for your own dentist.
  8. What does your travel insurance say?Read the wording on treatment abroad and on complications before you travel.

Free register lookup: clinimora.com/find. Clinimora is independent: it is paid for by patients, not by clinics. It does not rate clinical quality, does not arrange treatment and does not recommend clinics. This sheet is general information, not advice about any one person.
